Covid-19 Travel Update
With regards to Covid-19, we have become a government-approved Gold Standard Hotel, implementing extra sanitisation and safety measures, which won’t dampen the experience. Prevention and minimising risks, even without Covid-19 on the scene has been our priority. This is for your peace of mind, as well as our Slickrock team.
As of 1st March 2022, the Belize government has ended curfew, mask-wearing, as well as the requirement for a negative Covid test (only) if you are fully vaccinated. Otherwise, a negative rapid test 48 hours before arrival, or a negative PCR test 96 hours before arrival is required.
In accordance with CDC requirements to re-enter the States, we have arranged a Rapid Antigen test for an additional US$75 per person. It can be a tad overwhelming with all the new travel requirements, so we have organised to have the tests available in the mainland, as you arrive back from the island. Results will be available the same evening. Please note that Belize does not allow foreign home tests (such as from airlines and), and requires government-approved providers to administer the tests. Only these are allowed for departing the country.
Last but not least, there is now a mandatory US$18 travel insurance to enter Belize. We highly recommend getting this online before you depart, as getting it upon arrival will delay immigration and customs clearance:
