"The Mayan Odyssey was a great package tour. Crystal Paradise Resort was very beautiful with comfortable rooms and excellent food. The tours on the Mayan Odyssey ranked right at the top for our favorite activities on the trip. Our guides were very knowledgeable and knew their history. All of the Mayan Culture was so interesting. None of the books we had read prior even did it justice! You have to see to believe! We could have stayed longer inland!
Once we got to the island, we liked that we could go out together without a guide. We like to do things on our own and feel very comfortable in that situation, so it was nice to not always have to have a guide. The surf and sea kayaking were very fun, and it was really great to try and practice windsurfing. It was great to have quality equipment for all of the sport options. Not only to try different brands, but to fully enjoy the sport."

We can confirm a single traveler only when we have at least one other person confirmed, and the person(s) will not cancel without full cancellation fees in penalty. Please inquire about the status of the date you are interested in.
If the single traveler cannot be grouped with the other travelers in the pick-up or drop-off from Belize City, there is an additional $50 US charge each way, payable upon location. They will try very hard to group you with someone else staying at their lodge, which is why they don’t charge it in advance; they hope that they won’t have to charge you any extra at all.
There is no additional charge to pick up the single person in San Ignacio. Pick-ups from any other location in Belize besides Belize City or San Ignacio are not available.

Crystal Paradise Resort is located alongside the Macal River in lush jungle on the outskirts of Cristo Rey Village, in the Cayo district of western Belize. This secluded location is a quiet, remote property with excellent birding right on the grounds. Combine this exotic atmosphere with genuine Belizean family hospitality, and the result is a perfect home for our three nights in the jungle. Crystal Paradise Resort was hand built by the Tut family using the ancient art of palm–thatched roofs that the locals have perfected for hundreds of years. The family runs the resort as a team to offer you the finest in accommodations and meals. It is one of the few resorts owned and operated by a Belizean family.
At Crystal Paradise all cabanas are fully screened and equipped with ceiling fans and private baths with hot and cold showers. You can relax and listen to the sounds of the jungle from your very own veranda with a hammock and deck chairs for your comfort. They also have an outdoor dining pavilion and beautifully tended gardens. Crystal Paradise is situated on 21acres of land. Over 265 species of birds have been sighted on the Crystal Paradise property. In addition to a number of orchid species, there are over 150 species of plants and trees that are found on the property. Fruit trees such as mangoes, pineapples, avocados, bananas, and citrus, as well as many flowering plants and trees can be seen year round.
