Long Caye Belize Menu

Long Caye’s Belize island cuisine is a culinary experience like no other. The menu promises a delightful journey through the flavors of Belize, designed to embrace the bounty of fresh seafood, fruits, and vegetables available in the local markets. Whether you are a vegetarian, vegan, or follow a gluten-free diet, the menu easily accommodates your dietary preferences. There is no hidden gluten in the dishes in the gluten free column (i.e. no soy sauce in the dressings, for example) and no meat in the items in the vegetarian and vegan columns, and no animal products in the vegan column.

We are not able to accommodate individualized dishes at meals. The resort’s remote location and food storage capacity requires a set menu in order to maintain high quality service for all our guests throughout the season. Guests with life-threatening allergies who carry an epinephrine pen for a food allergy can be assured we will either not serve, or completely quarantine, those items. If you have questions or concerns about dietary restrictions or the menu items, please contact us in advance.

Here are some highlights that make the menu truly exceptional, followed by what to expect from a typical day of buffet-style meals during your all-inclusive adventure vacation.

  1. Everything is made from scratch
  2. All coconut dishes use coconut picked that day on the island
  3. Pure water, fresh-squeezed orange juice, soda, coffee, tea, and beer are available at all times (and at no additional charge)
  4. Yogurt and homemade granola are served at every breakfast in addition to what is listed
