Group Discounts on Belize Tours

Holidays
Christmas and New Year’s:
Group discounts are not applicable during the trip start dates listed below; the only discounts applicable during these trip dates are discounts for returning guests. Kid's discounts also are not available during these weeks. All kids will be charged the adult rate, regardless of age. These are the most popular weeks of the year, and we turn away hundreds of guests every year for the Christmas holiday weeks. We also do not pay agent commissions on these dates.
2010-2011 season: Adventure Island at Glover’s Reef: 17Dec10, 24Dec10, and 31Dec10; Belize Adventure Week: 18Dec10, 25Dec10, and 1Jan11. Rivers & Reef: 29Dec10.

President's Day, Spring Break and Easter:
Group discounts greater than 10% are not applicable on these weeks.
2010-2011 season: Adventure Island at Glover’s Reef: 18Feb11, 18Mar11, 25Mar11; Belize Adventure Week: 19Feb11, 19Mar11, 26Mar11.

Definition of "group"
Friends or relatives booking together on a regularly scheduled trip. Please see discount chart above.

Definition of "charter"
A group that books a trip date exclusively. Please request our Charter Policy. 

Reservations for groups
Standard $450/person deposit. Please see our Reservations and Cancellations page.

Agents booking groups
Agents booking groups of 4+ may charge each guest the regular rate and keep the discount that is usually passed onto the guest, in addition to using any free spots for themselves.

Booking groups through an agent
No discounts available if group or returning guest is booking through an agent or outfitter eligible for commissions.

Returning guests
Each returning guest receives a 10% discount on any trip, even holiday dates.

Kid’s discounts
Kids 11 and under receive a larger discount than those listed here. Kids receiving these discounts do not count toward the size of the group. In certain cases it may insure a better rate to count the kid as an adult to increase the size of the group, in order to receive a group discount. Signing up for more than one trip
If you book two trips “back-to-back” (back to back = trips with overlapping overnight accommodations with Slickrock), you will receive 10% off the first trip and 25% off the 2nd trip. This discount is not available for those booking through an agent eligible for commissions, and also not available in addition to any other discounts you may already be receiving. On holiday dates that are blocked for discounts, the 25% back-to-back discount is dropped to 10% for the 2nd trip, the first trip receives no discounts.

Mayan Odyssey package
Our Mayan Odyssey package is run by another outfitter and is not eligible for the back-to-back discount or for the group discount. See Kid’s Rates and Restrictions for special prices for kids.

We do not give double discounts
For example: If you are part of a group of 4 eligible for a 10% discount, and a returning guest eligible for a 10% discount, your discount is still 10% off the retail cost of the trip. If your trip is on sale, group rates also do not apply.

When group rate is not applicable
During the Christmas and New Years holiday weeks.

PADI Scuba discounts
Group or other discounts do not apply to scuba diving. Another company provides scuba diving.
