Bring your kiteboard to our island and experience perfect conditions, in fact the best in Belize for kitesurfing! We encourage kiteboarders to bring down their gear and enjoy surfing the wide open spaces that surround our island. Our lagoon is very kite friendly and there is plenty of wind since we are on such a remote, exposed island. We see at least a 10 mph breeze 95% of the time, and above 20 mph about 50% of the time during the winter and spring seasons.

The island has several large beach areas, for launching and landing, and the lagoon offers flat water conditions. On the outside of the reef, our surf break and open sea conditions will notch up the action for more advanced kiteboarders.

And unlike other more accessible islands in Belize (Ambergris, Caye Caulker) there is very little boat traffic. And the water is 80 degrees!

We do not offer kiteboarding equipment or lessons, guests need to bring their own gear and have proficiency in the sport. We do offer windsurfing instruction.
